St. Patrick's Day / by Michael Durr

What a fantastic day in downtown Chicago for the St. Patrick's Day festivities. It is one of my favorite city events because of the crazy amount of energy, excitement and people watching. I was extremely lucky to get the opportunity to take a spin in the mixing boat after the dye was dropped. My hands are still orange! I captured ride with a 360 camera so be sure to check it out below and feel free to have a look around. There is also a timelapse video that I shot from the Gleacher Center along the river. It provides a great vantage point for the event and thanks to my wife we were able to see all the action from up there.

I'd like to extended a special thanks to the guys that got their hands dirty (orange) for all of our entertainment. Also, thank you to Blarney Island and Shoreline for helping me onto the boat. It was a perfect day! Thank you.

Special thanks to guys who game me a spin in the boat and also to Blarney Island for giving me the permission to take the ride. Visit www.blarneyisland.com and be sure to visit the Key West of the Midwest!
