Panama by Michael Durr

My wife Lindsay earned a trip to Panama through her company. It was an amazing experience and Panama is certainly a place I would recommend visiting. Panama is an amazing location consisting of a unique landscape, rich history, and exceeding progress. We were able to see the Panama Canal locks system, which was fascinating to actually witness first hand. In addition, we toured the Embera Tribe Indian Village. It was an amazing to witness such a diverse culture and take part in their way of life. The company provided amazing meals each of the nights we were there and it made for a truly memorable trip. I hope some of these images give you a sense of what it was like.

My panorama was highlighted in Gizmodo's Photo Challenge.

Memorial Day by Michael Durr

It is truly amazing what a two hour drive will get you. This Memorial Day my girlfriend and I and some close friends took a weekend camping trip to Galena, IL. Our actual campground was in the town of Elizabeth, IL, which is just outside of Galena. The campground was called Vel Terra Ranch. It was a beautiful campground with great facilities for glampers. We had a delicious fajita meal prepared over the fire by Jim Braniff on Saturday and then ate in downtown Galena on Sunday. If you ever check out Vel Terra Ranch remember that they have electric fences around the horse pens, I know this because I was zapped by it. Be sure to check out all the photos.

California King? Not so much. by Michael Durr

My buddy Marcus Leshock gives his FAST FOOD REVIEW #8: Burger King's California Whopper! I have to say after seeing his review I am not going to run out and get one. It's also funny that Burger King is changing up it's advertising to highlight "fresh ingredients." Where have I seen that before? Hmmmmm.
