A Very Mills Christmas Card by Michael Durr

Since 2010 I have been photographing my good friend’s Christmas card. Every year we don’t think we can top the previous year and every year we tend to set a new bar. It has become an extremely fun holiday tradition and it has reached the point where I send their card to my family. Not only is it fun to send these out, but it is equally as fun discussing ideas throughout the year and of course the shoot day is a blast.

Take a look through the holiday card archive and let us know which one is your favorite!

Merry Christmas!

Ronnie and Stephanie by Michael Durr

Ronnie and Stephanie had an an amazing winter wedding at County Line Orchard in Portage, IN. Having know Stephanie and Ronnie for  a few years now I was looking forward to shooting their special day. I love that I heard a lot of Eric Church and had the opportunity to eat some BBQ and Papa Johns between shots. I wish them both the best of luck in the future and I am happy to call them both my friends.

Congratulations!

Ronnie and Stephanie by Michael Durr

I am so happy for Ronnie and Stephanie. It was an absolutely amazing day to venture around the north side of Chicago. We stopped by some of their favorite spots and even had time for a wardrobe change. I'm looking forward to the winter wedding.

Go Cubs!

Carlos and Adrienne by Michael Durr

It was a beautiful summer day for Carlos and Adrienne's wedding. There is nothing better then capturing a friends wedding. I have seen their relationship grow over the years and I was honored to be asked to capture the day. Congratulations Carlos and Adrienne!

Tent Party Xmas – Tree Lighting by Michael Durr

If you weren't there for this year's Tent Party Xmas tree lighting. Let me explain. The Christmas tree depicted in the subsequent video and photos was my parents actual Christmas tree in 2015. It had waited six long months to shine again. And shine again it did. Watch the video all the way through. It's worth every second. No children were harmed in the shooting of this video.
